The Fargo DTC5500LMX Wasteless lamination technology is totally different from the conventional lamination process, as it uses only one core rather than two cores. In this way, the perforated lamination tears away after being applied to each card. There is also an option to use one pattern lamination or a different pattern lamination, which allows for different front and back lamination types. Another specialty of the Fargo DTC5500LMX printer includes dual-sided printing and dual-sided lamination capability.
